We tend to automatically connect “nature” to the primitive, untouched nature in the natural world, but the nature in this photo book is the artificial one such as parks and gardens. It features never-before-published photos Homma has taken over the years with the interest in coexistence of humans and nature, and texts by Yoshikazu Nango, a sociologist and an assistant professor at Tokyo University.
Published in 2011 for the exhibition “IN OUR NATURE” held in at ARTIUM in Fukuoka.
Photos: Takashi Homma.
33 colour pages.
